Apple Festival

Oct 06, 2007. Fairbanks. The Apple Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fairbanks School Meeting House, on Route 4 two miles north of downtown Farmington. A celebration of everything apple! Penobscot Narrows BridgeFest

Oct 04, 2008. Bucksport. The Penobscot Narrows BridgeFest celebrates Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observatory - Maine's newest tourist attraction. The Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observatory is the first bridge in the Western Hemisphere to include an observatory integral with its structure. The observatory, at 420 feet, is the tallest manmade rural observatory tower in the United States. Views from the observation deck extend along the coast and inward to Mount Katahdin.
