Jul 29, 2017. Annual Casco Days Road Race. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged and online registration is available starting Feb. 14, 2017. Day of race registration will be accepted starting at 7:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at the Casco Community Center on Route 121 in Casco Village. All contestants are required to check in at registration prior to the start of the race even if they are pre-registered. The first 250 pre-registrants will receive a Casco Days Road Race t-shirt. Awards are given to the top two female and male race winners and all category winners and runners-up. Jul 04, 2016. As part of the Grand Lake Stream, America 4th of July Celebrations, the Downeast Lakes Land Trust is pleased to host the 7th annual Race for Grand Lake Stream. The 3-mile long run is from Big Lake to the center of the village, parallel to Grand Lake Stream along a quiet, tree-lined paved road. Registration is $12 and will include a Grand Lake Stream, America t-shirt. Awards will be given for 1st place overall, Male/Female Youth, 15 and below Male/Female 16-30 M/F 31-50 M/F 51-70 and M/F 71+. No Man Left Behind Triathlon Challenge - Camp Sunshine

Annual No Man Left Behind Challenge, the annual SEALS for Sunshine Triathlon composed of 8 miles of biking, a 3/4 mile swim, a 3 mile run, another 1 mile swim, another 9 miles of biking, another 6 mile rune, another 3/4 mile swim, another 12 mile bike ride and then 4 miles of paddling. We will be accepting 25 civillian participants to join the SEALs. Each participant will be required to raise a minimum of $1,000 to support sending military families to Camp Sunshine. Participants work/stay together SEAL leader is last to finish as an entire unit. For more information, please check out our course map, or call Mike or Kayley at (207) 655-3800. When the event finishes at the beach at Point Sebago Resort, there will be approximately 2,000-3,000 people in attendance cheering. Jul 06, 2016. Harrison 5K by the Lake is an honest 5K course in the heart of Western Maine. Starting line for the run is in front of the Antique Store by the Harrison Grange Hall - Follow Rte. 117 around the end of Long Lake towards North Bridgton. Continue along Rt. 117, until you turn left onto Brickyard Hill Rd. Stay on Brickyard Hill Rd. until you bear right out to Rte. 117 and take an immediate left following Rte. 117 for a very short distance where you will take another immediate left (loops around the Bridgton Academy Beach) and then follow the same route back into Harrison, then right onto Lincoln Street just after the Village Tie-Up and Grange Hall. The race starts on Water Street and weaves through Hallowell's scenic historic business district and residential streets. Sponsored by the Belfast Rotary Club, the run will begin at Belfast Area High School and cover the same relatively flat course as in the past, through the lovely, picturesque, and proudly historic neighborhoods of Belfast, Maine, covering five kilometers or 3.1 miles. Everyone is welcome to join from those looking to run a personal best to families wanting to share a healthy run/walk. This fund is used to purchase athletic equipment, host school athletic events, and give recreation passes to student families. The 5K is held at Geiger Elementary School and the route is as follows: walk out the back entrance to geiger, take a right onto Central Street, take a right onto Montello Street, take a right onto College Street, take a right onto Stetson Road, take a right onto Hogan Road, take a right onto Montello Street, and then return to Central Street and into the back entrance to Geiger.
